How to keep score
Gather four players and name your session, such as Sunday Chits. Enter one nickname per line. The usual four roles are Badshah, Wazir, Sipahi and Chor. Digital mode deals these roles privately on one phone. Paper mode lets you use your own folded chits and record the roles here after the guess.
In digital mode, give the phone to the named player. Everyone else looks away while that player holds the chit. Releasing hides it. Tap Hide & pass before handing the phone over. Once all four have looked, the Wazir chooses who they think is the Chor. Locking the guess records one round; it cannot be silently changed by the next person tapping.
The starting points are Badshah 1000, Wazir 800, Sipahi 500 and Chor 0. With the wrong-guess rule enabled, a wrong Wazir guess swaps the Wazir and Chor points. For example, the Wazir receives 0 and the Chor receives 800. Change these agreed house points in settings before the game. Ten rounds is the starting match length.
Set the phone where everyone can see the score without blocking the game. Use nicknames so the next person knows whose turn it is. Before the first round, agree on the target, what counts as a point and which house rules apply. A scorekeeper records decisions made by your group; it cannot decide whether a catch, call or guess was fair.
Take a moment after each turn to read the new total aloud. If someone spots a mistake, correct it before starting the next turn. Keep one person in charge of the phone at a time so two taps do not record the same event twice. Pass the phone carefully and keep drinks away from it.
Your session is saved in this browser on this phone. Locking the screen or briefly switching apps does not end a saved match. Return using the same browser to continue. Private browsing, clearing website data or changing phones can remove the score sheet, so share a final copy if your group wants to keep it.
Open the page online once and wait for it to finish loading before heading somewhere without a signal. The visited helper can then reopen offline on the same browser. WhatsApp still needs a connection to send the message. A share button prepares text for you to check; nothing is posted to a group automatically.
Before you begin
Can we use paper chits?
Yes. Choose paper mode and enter each player’s role once per round. Mark whether the Wazir guessed wrong.
Can everyone see the secret role?
The role appears while its player holds the chit. Release it before passing the phone; switching apps hides the reveal.
Can I correct a round?
Open Rounds, select the entry and correct its points. Undo reverses your latest score change.
Where do old Citizen-format matches go?
If an older match had more than four players, use the legacy-session link shown above setup to resume or share it. New matches use four roles.
