About Chai Games
A small games collection for a proper chai break.
Ek cup, ek game.
Chai Games is a free collection of browser games inspired by Pakistani everyday play: a kite over rooftops, a cricket match in a lane, a painted rickshaw and a word shared across languages. It is made for people in Pakistan, the diaspora and anyone who would like to join in. You do not need an account, a download or any special gaming equipment.
Familiar ideas, original games
Our artwork and short synthesized sounds are original. The setting is playful and imaginary; the games do not claim to reproduce real streets, sporting competitions or neighbourhoods. The instructions explain each game’s own rules. Cultural notes and blog articles distinguish everyday variations from formal board-game or sporting rules.

Your progress belongs to this browser
Personal bests, recent games, sound choices and Lafz progress are stored locally when your browser permits it. There is no cloud account, cash prize or real-money competition. Share a score if you like, but do not mistake a device record for a verified global ranking.
Small breaks, with room for everyone
Play with touch or a keyboard, mute the sound and pause whenever you need. We use readable labels and respect reduced-motion settings. If a rule, spelling or control needs attention, our Contact page explains how to flag it. We would rather correct a small mistake than leave a confusing instruction in the way of a good game.
