Local game data
Chai Games saves game bests, play counts, recent games, sound preferences and daily Lafz progress and streaks in your browser’s local storage. These records are not an account and do not automatically move to another device. Clearing this site’s browser data removes them. If storage is blocked or full, games continue but some preferences and progress may not be remembered.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page traffic. It does not use analytics cookies. Page addresses are stripped of query strings and fragments before our integration reports them, and we do not add names, email addresses or puzzle guesses to pageview events. Vercel processes technical request information to operate its service; its own privacy documentation explains that processing.
Game events and sharing
Game-start, game-over, share, install and Lafz-complete hooks are implemented locally. Remote custom-event collection is not enabled on the current hosting plan. A score or puzzle pattern is sent to another app only when you choose Share; the destination app then handles that message under its own rules. The share text avoids revealing a daily answer.
No advertising or sign-up forms
There are no advertising scripts, payment forms or account-registration forms in this release. Ordinary hosting access logs may contain technical information such as an IP address and user agent. If you choose to email the contact address once available, the email provider handles the message you send. Do not include sensitive personal information in a game feedback report.
Your choices
You can clear local data using your browser’s site settings, play with sound muted, or block analytics requests. We respect a browser’s Do Not Track preference in our analytics integration. Blocking analytics does not prevent play. This page describes the current release and will be updated if the data practices change.
