Kuch bhi

Getting your score book ready…

How to keep score

Use Kuch bhi for the game your family has just invented, a quiz played around the table or a card game without its own preset. Name the session and add two to eight players or teams. Choose a fixed number of rounds, a point target or no limit. The labels are yours; the phone only keeps the arithmetic.

Agree whether the highest or lowest total wins. Enter each player’s points in This round using the number field or plus and minus buttons. Negative points are allowed when your rules use penalties. Save round commits all entries together and clears the next round’s input. The large standings show the cumulative totals after each saved round.

For a lowest-score game with a point limit, reaching the limit ends the session and the lowest total wins. That is useful when a penalty threshold ends a card game. Choose rounds instead if everyone must have an equal number of turns. A tie remains a tie; settle any tie-break with your group before recording another session.

Set the phone where everyone can see the score without blocking the game. Use nicknames so the next person knows whose turn it is. Before the first round, agree on the target, what counts as a point and which house rules apply. A scorekeeper records decisions made by your group; it cannot decide whether a catch, call or guess was fair.

Take a moment after each turn to read the new total aloud. If someone spots a mistake, correct it before starting the next turn. Keep one person in charge of the phone at a time so two taps do not record the same event twice. Pass the phone carefully and keep drinks away from it.

Your session is saved in this browser on this phone. Locking the screen or briefly switching apps does not end a saved match. Return using the same browser to continue. Private browsing, clearing website data or changing phones can remove the score sheet, so share a final copy if your group wants to keep it.

Open the page online once and wait for it to finish loading before heading somewhere without a signal. The visited helper can then reopen offline on the same browser. WhatsApp still needs a connection to send the message. A share button prepares text for you to check; nothing is posted to a group automatically.

Before you begin

Can scores go down?

Yes. Enter a negative round score for an agreed penalty, or use minus while entering the round.

Can I use team names?

Yes. Each row can represent one player or a whole team.

How do I fix an old score?

Open Rounds, select the mistaken entry and edit it. Later rounds remain in the score sheet.

Does the score join online rankings?

No. Offline scores are entered by your group and stay separate from verified arcade rankings. You can share the standings yourself.
